Description
Marrakech at dusk gives this set its colour, a blue deep enough to border on ink. It is a more useful evening shade than black in a room where everyone else has already worn black.
Contrast trim runs the length of the front opening and is stitched by hand, so the line is not perfectly mechanical. Look closely at the point where the trim turns the corner and you will find the small decision the finisher made there.
The cloth carries real weight. Enough to hang cleanly from the shoulder without help, enough give to sit through a long dinner without the waistband arguing with you. That combination is harder to source than it sounds, and it is most of what the price reflects.
