Chosen by touch before anything else.
We buy cloth the unfashionable way: in person, by hand, from mills and souk merchants the atelier has worked with for years.
If a fabric will not age well, it does not come home with us.
Four fibres carry almost the whole collection: silk for drape, linen for air, cotton for everyday ease, and velvet for weight and occasion. All natural, all chosen to soften rather than wear out.
Every product page lists its exact composition and care under Materials and Sizing.

Our materials
Cloth arrives in small lots, is washed before cutting so nothing shrinks after, and rests in the atelier until its edition is drawn. The souk taught us the only test that matters: close your eyes and touch.
When in doubt at home: cold water, gentle hands, and keep velvet and embroidery for the dry cleaner.
What your piece is made of.
Silk
Fluid and cool against the skin, our silks take dye deeply, which is why the blacks read black and the creams glow. Hand wash cold or dry clean.
Linen & Cotton
The workhorses of the wardrobe. Washed before cutting so nothing shrinks after, and woven loosely enough to breathe through a Marrakech afternoon.
Velvet
Reserved for evening pieces and embroidery grounds. Dense, warm, and unforgiving of shortcuts, which is rather the point.
Feel it for yourself.
Compositions and care live on every product page.
