Description
Silk Tlija, black, with metallic motifs woven through it that catch light rather than throw it back. In a dim room the dress reads plain until someone moves past a candle, and then it does not.
Sfifa traces the high neck, the front panel, the cuffs and the hem. Four lines of hand braid on one dress, which is more than we put on anything else in the collection, and it gives the shape its architecture.
The body is soft and lightly flared, the sleeves wide and long. It moves. It also packs flat and comes out of a case ready, which matters more for a dress worn away from home than most descriptions admit.
Wear it plain for dinner and add metal for the rest of the night. It goes from quiet to fully dressed on a pair of earrings.
