Terre & Ciel Set

A silk jumpsuit worn under a short belted kimono, with embroidery running around the sleeves. It is cut in two colourways: Terre Brune, a deep chocolate brown, and Royal Blue.

Brown is harder to get right than black. Too warm and it turns orange under indoor light, too cool and it reads grey. This one holds its depth in both, which took more sampling than the colour usually gets credit for. The blue was cut from the same cloth and set against the same embroidery, so it reads as the same piece in another register rather than a second design.

The jumpsuit on its own is a clean silhouette with nowhere to hide, so the kimono is doing two jobs. It carries the embroidery, and it gives you the option of covering the shoulder and upper arm without changing the line underneath.

Belted, it makes a shape. Left open it becomes something far more relaxed, which is how most people end up wearing it at home.

Orders are prepared in 2 to 4 business days. Delivery within the United States is complimentary and takes 5 to 9 business days. We do not ship internationally yet. Returns are accepted within 14 days, unworn with tags attached.
