Noir Almaz

Almaz is the Arabic word for diamond, and the set earns it in the way it catches light rather than through any ornament. A longline top falls over a fluid skirt in deep black, cut generously enough to move without ever clinging to the body underneath.

The velvet trim is the whole argument. It runs at the collar and the cuffs, and because velvet holds light differently from the flat weave beside it, the piece reads as two blacks rather than one. That effect is difficult to photograph and easy to notice in a room.

Most clients wear it whole for evenings, with gold at the ear and nothing else competing. The top also works alone over tailored trousers, which is how it gets worn far more often than we expected when we cut the first run.

Orders are prepared in 2 to 4 business days. Delivery within the United States is complimentary and takes 5 to 9 business days. We do not ship internationally yet. Returns are accepted within 14 days, unworn with tags attached.
